I love the dual head and writing or scoring then cutting with ease!
I love how quiet it is!
I love the perfect cuts even small and/or intricate images!
I love having one dial. . .set it and done!
I even love the little feet that raise my Explore so my mat can slide under it!

I love Design Space! Being able to cut fonts from my computer, all the svg and dxf files I have and uploading other file types like jpeg and png is great! It has allowed me to move the other cutter off my desk!

I love it so much, Narelle and I have a FB group for Design Space and the Explore! Come join us! https://www.facebook.com/groups/487705104684042/

What about you? What do you love about the Explore?

Print then Cut is due out in the 2nd half of the year. So not yet. But I think they are getting close as I saw one blogger post that she had been working on some Print then Cut projects for the Make It Now section of Design Space.

Since Cricut already had a Print and Cut machine, the Imagine, the feature in for the Explore is called Print then Cut.

You will create your design and send it to your home printer. The design will print will registration marks and then you load that paper {or vinyl sheet or shrinky dink sheet or fabric or whatever you have printed on} on your mat and into your Explore. The Explore will be able to read those registration marks and cut your design. At least that's how it works with other cutters.

The cutter I had before I got my Cricut has the Print and Cut feature. I made these charms for a Disney Cruise mini book and swap using the shrinky dink sheets.

Danita made this using the printable vinyl {http://danitasdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/09/well-i-fibbed-heres-another-bucket-but.html}

Wanted to add to the Explore love. I just made my best friend's birthday card and it made me realise how much I love the subscription.

So many shapes to choose from - it made finding the right ones easy. I added some writing and scoring for an envelope and the card was done in record time!

I am not loving our explore. Just bought trying to set up and it keeps saying cricut crash. I previously had the imagine which never worked. Should I just take this back and save myself yet another $300 paper weight?

I love mine too, for all the reasons you have said and finding more each day! I have had the Expression, Imagine and the Sizzix Eclips in the past and the Explore surpasses every one BigGrin

Mine will be here tomorrow, I have not been on this site for a while, but could not resist this machine. I am on my 2nd expression and it keeps telling me to turn off and turn back on, so I figure it is going out. I hope I like this new machine as these machines are not cheap. Love

Dear Cricut People,

I just received my cricut explore today and I followed the steps for setup which all went well only till I tried to make my first project which is the Thank You Card. I followed the instructions I then pressed the double arrow button to load my mat it took the mat in and it then asked me to choose the type of paper which i did (Cardstock) It then asked me to insert the pen that came with the machine. I did that and it then asked me to press GO the (c) button which I did and it ejected the mat back out. I have now officially tried the same method for the past 3 hours but the Go button just keeps ejecting my mat back out :( Im not sure what to do. i watched a Number of videos online and followed everything that Im suppose to do but the C button instead of processing the cut it just ejects the mat back out. Am I doing something wrong? Please Help

Thanks ever so much in advance

Setting up the bluetooth is not hard at all. Go ahead and use it with the USB in the meantime - it won't make a smidge of difference to setting up your wireless adapter!
