Hello! Last night I was using my Cricut when the power button flickered then the machine totally shut down. I smelled like a weird burning smell but saw absolutely no sparks or smoke or anything of the sort. I tried turning the machine back on, and the power button lit up but nothing else. Nothing on the LCD screen, none of the buttons, nothing. It's like it's totally dead, except for that power button light.

Any ideas? I'm in the middle of making decorations for a BIG family party, and cannot afford a new machine right now (or to buy decorations). I'm going crazy!!

Try calling PC. It could possibly be the power cord. Perhaps they can troubleshoot with you while you are on the phone together.

Frying your Cricut is a possibility. I lost both a baby bug and an E that way. It could also just be your power cord. Do you know anyone you can borrow a Cricut power cord from?
