Here are the rules for this swap.

Rules for embossing swap

1.Post which folder you would like embossing from and the colors and the qty. of each folder as well as the size of paper you would want.

2. You would get to post up to 8 folders a month.

3. PLEASE MARK THE FOLDERS THAT HAVE BEEN GRANTED BY PUTTING GRANTED BY.... and make it in color or highlighted please. This way when I do an update post I will know.

4. Wishes that you grant please send in a timely manor. This is an easy swap so it shouldn't take long to do it and send them.(Please make it to 2 week mailing or less.) It is too easy to make it longer than that. If you take longer than 2 weeks to mail and don't let me know the reason I will be reporting you as a FLAKER!!!

5. If you grant a wish post it on the MB don't pm the person.

6. Have FUN!!!

I know there are a bunch of folders I don't have or can't find that someone else might have.

Anyone interested in getting some embossed paper for cards, Photo mats, ect...?

I have 2 separate requests. I am first looking for an embossing folder with a hummingbird or hummingbirds on it. Anyone have one? If so, could you send me a couple sample pages, folder size, so I can see what it looks like? GRANTED BY Kiethann, RECEIVED, Thanks!

2nd request...I am looking for an embossing folder with angel wings...got one? If so, I would like a couple of sample pages, folder size, to see what it looks like. Thanks so much.

Blessings, GG.

GG, I might have one with hummingbird on it. Will have to look through my folders and see. If so, I would be glad to make you some and send them to you. Will not be able to go through my folders right now. My daughter is having a jewelry party and invited me to it. so have to get everything ready I want to give her before time to see her.

Great! Have fun at the party. I went to a Stella and Dot party in the Spring, and really liked the jewelry, though it was quite expensive. I ordered a cross bracelet and a ring with some clear stones in it. The bracelet broke the day after I received it, and one of the stones fell out of the ring within a week! The company replaced both pieces, but now I am afraid to wear them...what a disappointment, particularly considering the cost. GG

My favorite home jewelry company was Sarah Coventry. Prices were reasonable and the quality was great. Never ever had problems with any of their items.

This jewelry is very pricey. Not much I saw that I liked. DD did purchase me a very pretty rose filigree necklace. She, as hostess, was able to purchase 4 items at half price. I really liked it and she said she would order it for me. Did I ever mention I have the most awesome daughter in the universe. Well, I think so.

I am with you Kiethann ! I sold Sarah Coventry back in the 1970's ! I still have some of those pieces, and also inherited my mother's pieces when she passed away. It is the best costume jewelry ever made ! If I bought something that fell apart like GG got, I would complain to the company and make them replace it. Sarah would always guarantee their pieces - I think it is for LIFE !

Anyway, GG I have embossing folders with an Angel & Trumpet on it... I also believe that they are coming out with one soon that is Angel Wings from SHEENA (Crafters Companion) maybe for Christmas. I will let you know.
If you want any of the Angel I can do that.

Barb, you can't be my age, I still have lots of Sarah, everyone had parties and earned free items. There was one other company also. I see books and get invited but it's all so expensive.

If someone does have a hummingbird please let me know what brand. Want to do some embossing for a couple mini's I'm going to do.

Hugs - Patti

Finally went through all of my embossing folders, sigh no hummingbirds one. All kinds of other birds though. However did see an article in one of my craft magazines about making embossing from metal stencils. I know I have a hummingbird one and as soon as I get a chance to go through several years of craft magazines and find it, I will see what I can come up with. I think I do have on embossing folder with a field of flowers at the bottom and think I will emboss it and then try to add the hummingbird. will keep all posted on what luck I have in finding the magazine and also how it turns out when I do find the magazine.

I have made a few embossing folders myself, and was considering doing so, just haven't had the time yet. Plus, why reinvent the wheel, if one already existed? GG

GG, I hope to experiment with making an embossing folder with hummingbird (s) on it today. I found a really pretty hummingbird on Lyrical letters. Have never really looked through the handbook because I thought it was just words and different style fonts. Much to my surprise, there are objects on the cartridge.

BCSQ...thanks for checking. I hope life slows down a little for you. I would rather be busy then not, as long as it is a fun and meaningful busy that is! GG

Keithann...thanks for giving it a go. I will have to check and see if the Lyrical Letters cart is on the DS subscription. I do not have the cart, but do have the subscription. I am often surprised at what I find on carts that I, too, thought I knew everything that was on them. GG

I have searched and searched with no luck, darn darn. Can't believe we can't find one. I did find one on Art Neuveau, guess I will have to cut some. Don't know what paper I have for some??? Any ideas.

I received some wonderful hummingbird pages yesterday from Kiethann. She actually took the time to make an embossing folder herself...so awesome! Thank you so much...I just love them! I tried to take a picture, but could not get the right angle for the embossing to show up. I am going to try inking one so you all can see what she did. Blessings, GG.

I was heavy handed on the inking...dropped the pad when I went to use it...but at least you can see the beautiful design. GG

edited to add...sorry that it shows up sideways...couldn't edit it.
