After I insert an image I use the edit button to change the size of the image, whether or not I de-select the image (the box around the image) when I cut the image it is not same size. I have to edit the size via the drag the box around the image. Why is this? And I find the drag and edit methods is not accurate in size. Recently did a project where the width was suppose to be 5 inches (according to the drag method) but cut out 3 inches . Anyone else have this problem? I love and miss the old cricut craft room because editing the image size was a breeze and always accurate.

I, personally, do not try to resize using the EDIT tool. I like to SELECT all the layers of the image I need to resize (out on the screen) by getting the box around all the images and dragging the lower right corner out to the size I want my image/layers to be. If you fail to miss a layer to that image, then you risk having a piece that will not fit the others when you cut them out.

HTH.
