Hello Betty,
I Design Space and Craft Room are two separate programs. You will not be able to transfer your projects from Craft Room to Design Space. :(

That's bad; most programs will permit a user to import projects; why didn't Cricut programmers think about that and include an upward compatibility for projects? They should think about all the users that have created projects that will be unusable and think about the user!

I agree. Cricut should keep loyal customers in mind when designing software.i have over 30 projects that I need to create from scratch. It's a shame. Would also be helpful if we could have access to design space without internet connection. What if I wanted to take my machine somewhere without internet connection? It would be useless. This isn't fair to people who stick by the Cricut brand. It shows no loyalty to the customer.

I've been recreating my CCR files [well over 100 of them} in Design Space without problems. It's just a matter of opening the file in CCR, getting the size for each image and putting those on the canvas in Design Space. And, if you can't remember where an image came from, you can select the image in CCR, right click and it will tell you the cart.

It's a little work, but I think I like it better because when you upload an image/file to Design Space, you can't share it with others. And I freely share a lot of my files.
