Hi. I just received and set up my very first Cricut. I just have a question that may seem really obvious but I thought I'd ask anyway. If I am using the color paper, cardstock, etc. that I want for my project, why do I have color options on my computer when beginning a project. For instance I want to cut out a crown/tiara. It shows me two layers and two different colors that I am able to change. Why? The Cricut doesn't print it only cuts so why do I have that option? Thank you in advance.

Print then cut is a feature that will be added to Design Space/Explore.

Plus, if you're designing a card or LO, you can change the colors to see what your finished project will look like before cutting.

Come learn all about Design Space and the Explore in our Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space Facebook group!

Hi, this is Cricut JoAnn. The color options in Design Space are to just give you an idea of what your project will look like while you are designing in. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks for the FB link I also just went and joined it, I have had my explorer since release and haven't had the courage to take it out of the box yet because so far all my card crafts have been by hand and then I got the cuttlebug and have not used it then the cricut, part of it is I have several disabilities and many days I just have difficulty doing much due to arthritis and fybromyalgia (sp) depression etc. But I think it would help me to do something to activate my mind
and get busy, so any help/encouragement will be appreciated.

Thanks all
Jewel
