Greetings. Well, the snow has me inspired to create. Thank God I was able to get everything before this bad weather set in. I wanted to show my "Santa Key's" to everyone. I liked how they turned out. I used laminate to make the tags and vintage looking skeleton keys. Hope you enjoy.

Not only have I been busy with the keys but working on my tags as well. I know some of these are "surprises" but figure you may need to see a few perhaps for inspiration. I used a little Non-traditional colors as well as some Christmas colors. I will be adding ribbon in a bit.

Thank you. I sometimes waiver off the normal colors because the red, green and white can get overwhelming.

I have used a couple of cameos and really liked them, not into oriental but victorian or fairies would be great.

Sounds good Laura. I know you have been doing some heritage style LO's. Hopefully with the feathers and camesos your pages will have even a more vintage feel to them. LOL

1) Buttons or Beads?
buttons! I love buttons

2) Favorite cookie?
Macadamia Nut or just regular Chocolate Chip

3) Traditional or Whimsical aka Shabby Chic?
Either is fine BigGrin

4) Do you have a vintage photograph that means something to you? Please scan it and send it to me with the info.
I will try to find one lol, have to check in the garage.

5) Christmas tree color decorations for 2010? Theme?
Well were using White Christmas lights with colorful ornaments. We mostly decorate with tradition colors though, a little vintage stuff that we have kept over the years.

Erica could you be a doll and answer your questions for me? please and thanks you! Love

Erica , I love the tags and the colors. I have such a hard time not using traditional colors for Christmas. If I'm going way out on a limb, I use Blue and silver Laugh . Needless the say your tags are red, green and white. With the exception of the one star tag that is black and gold. I must have been going crazy that dayLOL .

The city is digging up my front yard as I type. On the positive side, the city is responsible for the water leak that has been running down the street for the last month not us.

My oldest son is playing in his first football game in 7 weeks tonight after a partially tearing his ACL. I am already getting nervous and tense. Please say a quick prayer for his and his teammates safety tonight.

Have a great day, Laura

Hello Ladies. JCI: So I was very pleased with the "Surprise" gift. Hope Laura and Claudia like it. 2 more things and the package will go postal. I am glad I did this swap because I made extra of each week requirement and now have some little gifts to bless others with.

1) Both
2) Chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin
3) both we have 2 trees
5) all sorts since we have 2 trees.

In the past when I have used non traditional colors for tags or wrap, these have come in handy. I am sure at one point you were "out" of paper and needed something to wrap up. These tags are great with brown paper packaging, tied up with an ornament and tag attached. I have even used freezer paper and that can appear nostalgic.

Will pray for you son. I am sure he is very excited. Not cool about your yard, hopefully all damage will be repaired. I hope you didn't have landscaping in that area and if you did, city needs to pay to repair your yard. It is so cold here and I am not really ready for Wnter but its here.

Ladies, curious about which ways are you considering for shipping? The reason I ask is that all my partners swaps items will not even fit in the large flat rate box and needs a bigger one. The box will probably weigh 15-18 pounds, have any of you used UPS or another avenue for shipping costs? Thanks.

I'm not sure about how to ship either. I did get the stationary, photo album, necklace, paper bag album and a set of ornaments in with the christmas jingle swap , that will be mailed in the morning. I think the rest will have to go UPS or FEDEX. I know for a company I use to work for , FEDEX was always the cheapest but that was for airplane eingines. Not sure if that is true for smaller package.

Luckily, we did not have any landscaping in the area the city dug up and they are replacing the grass. The only real inconvience was that we had no water for about an hour. really it was not as bad as I thought it could have been.

Hurray!!! I was finally able to log in to Cricut! If for some reason I don't respond please contact me through my email. For the last week I haven't been to get onto the Cricut site. One day I was able to login but when I clicked on Messageboard I got an error message - then the other days when I tried I couldn't even log in.

So with that said I'm still here and participating!

DaniIsMimisMommy have a great week!

I apologize for not getting back to you earlier. For some unknown reason I have been unable to login to Cricut, was on Facebook and talked to a few cricut pals there and they said I wasn't the only one. Even had some issues logging on tonight. Not cool when I need to contact or post updates.Talk to you soon. Again I apologize for not keeping myself more "here." :)

Things are getting done for my partners, and I will post some pics of Laura's items. Hope all is well. KIT.

Erica, I have everything except the surpise gift ready to go. I will mail them tomorow or friday. With Holiday plans, I probably will not get the suprise done until the week after Thanksgiving. I hope that is okay. I will most likely not be on the board next week. I was going to ship the surprise gift seperately so it doesn't break open and ruin the rest of the things.

I hope everything is going well for you and your family,
