Just wanted to let everyone know -

I have always tried to keep "Christ" in "Christ"mas. would anyone be offended if my cards are clearly of a religious strain? I always bought Madonna and Child image cards before I started making my own, but PC is a little tense about offering a cart with images that are that blantantly religious, and I understand why. The Circlets are complaining enough about how Shall We Dance is too much of a "niche" theme to be attractive to many of us. And then there is the issue of discrimination lawsuits ... oh, well...

If such a card would not make you happy ... offend in any way ... don't be shy, please speak up! I'm in this to make friends, and make people happy and glad to see what I've created. If this will not make you glad, I would rather change my design than hurt or offend anyone. Thank you all, and please post your opinion. I want to know before I tread on anyone's toes.

What is NGGG?

I personally am not a religious person in that sense. But, I am open to receiving any type of card that you would like to send to me.

If anyone has a preference, and would rather send me a pm, and have me rely a message, I would be able to do that as well.

This swap is now CLOSED.

There are 11 people whose addresses I had received at this point. So, in each group we were to send out 10 cards. So instead of having two different groups since there were a few of us willing to be in more than one group, I am combining all of the names together, and everyone will be sending a card out to each person that is participating. Please look carefully since we do have one participant from Canada, so the postage will be different. I will be sending out this list shortly or by tomorrow if I do not finish since it is now 11:00pm. Please remember to post on the sent/received thread once you have mailed off your cards so that I am able to keep track of all mailings, and to send them out by November 24th. It is optional if you want to include something in with your cards.

Have fun!

P.S.

NGGG = NotGoingGreyGracefully

I just wanted to be able to make the cards more personal, catering to everyone's feelings about the holiday season.

To all - please read my post of Nov. 2, #34 the purple one, and let me know if you would like something less religioulsy inclined. Just post to the thread, PM me or P.S. and she will send it on to me. I want everyone to really like what they get, but on the other hand it's sometimes nice to learn a little about the creator of what you get as well. Take it all in balance. If you don't reply or post, I will be left to my own devices, and you'll get what I think is a lovely, meaningful Christmas card. I would love to hear from all of you. I do not take offense at others' preferences! Like a RAK, this is to make others happy.

Thanks

NGGG

Hello everyone.

NGGGG: I bet your cards are beautiful and I would love one of whatever you create. I am not religious, but that doesnt mean I dont want to see what you create in your own way.

I have started my cards...like really started considering I have 40 to make this year..lol I have done all my embellishments, cut all my papers...and now I am addressing envelopes (the thing I hate most)

Oh and I have figured out I am addicted to Glossy Accents.... LOVE THE STUFF!!!

Hope everyone is having fun creatin!

jennifermaroulis, I think I hate you Laugh Laugh Laugh I'm looking at my to-do list, and these will probably be posted from Arizona while I am on vacation.

But I do have to say, these are #2 on my list of cricut stuff to do. I came home from a weekend trip to Houston, and all my clothes, still on the hangars, the closet pole and shelf and all the boxed up stuff on the shelf were in a huge messy heap on the floor ... Oh, and I'm playing at church again Sunday and started practicing today.

I work better under pressure. And expect Glossy Accents from me, too.

P.S,

I received your card last week!! I thought I already posted a reply a few days ago, but apparently it didn't go through or something, and then I haven't been able to get on in a few days.

Anyways,

Thank you so much! It was lovely! The plantable tag was such a great idea!

On a side note, my cards should be getting mailed soon. I just haven't had the time or money to. :/ I'm such a poor college kid...but I will post asap when they are postal.

Might be on the sent/received thread. People have been posting here, and there.

So for all future posts, can everyone post on the sent/received thread, and it will make it easier for everyone :).
