While at a recent crop my tablemate wanted to cut an outline of a five point star. She was frustrated because she could not find it on a cartridge. With some playing around I was able to cut her a large star. First I loaded my mat with a full 12" sheet of cardstock and then I used the center point key to set it at the center of my paper. We then cut a 10 inch star. After it was finished cutting the machine returned the blase to the center of the paper. We then cut a smaller 8 1/2 inch star inside the larger star. This gave us our largee star outline. This was the first time I had used the center point function and now I want to try it with other shapes. BigGrin

I love to use it to cut a circle around something in a picture and then cut a bigger circle.. remove the in between and then it draws attention to the item... I love center point...
