Deceided to post my first hat and my first slipper sock(for a hugh foot) lol. Just wanted thoes who are trying this to know you are not alone if they don't come out as you expected the first time. My son(adult) did say where is my other sock?? Didn't think he wanted them. He said well it keeps my one foot warm.Flapper. You can see I miss some stitches on the heel. I have not given up. So thoes that have tried and said no way take a look have a good laugh and just try again. By the way I am getting better I will post better results as I get them.

I think you did a great job. At least you tried to make a sock. I have had mine knitter for years and still only make hats with it. BigGrin

First you must breathe and not panick! Try a hat first. Check some of the threads on this board for links to patterns and books. The sock loom is not knifty knitter, I ordered it on line from Hershermans (sp?) and I havent tried it yet. It has a smaller gauge. If you search sock loom on youtube there are videos.

Hi, Thank you for the information. I am going to start searching YouTube for videos on how to get started on the basic looms first (I guess???).

I have the package with the round ones if that makes any sense. LOL

Thanks

Yes, the videos on YT are quite helpful! I couldn't have done the hat with out the videos...such visual learner, am I! Flapper

That sock looks like a warm sock! I agree you did a good job on both.
