Hello all,

Not sure if I am missing something obvious here, but I am having a hard time going back and adding layers to my fonts/shapes I cut using the "title words" creative button. What size do I make the layers? I've been measuring the shape from title words by hand and then selecting that size when I make the layers, but I was wondering if anyone knew of an easier way.

Thanks in advance for any tips you may have!

Hi

I just pulled out the handbook for this cartridge. For the title words there is no layer feature for this. If you want the words or shape a different color then you have to cut the image out twice using two different colors then cut apart one. I have not used the titles yet on a layout as I just bought the cartridge. You could try to cut one title out then measure the height of the shape (for example tucan shape his head to his tail) I know I had to do the same thing with SYI card feature. It looks like the card feature for this cartridge is the same as in SYI. I just looked at in the beginning of the handbook which gives an example of a card being made.

HTH

Thank you so much. I had a feeling there wasn't an easy way. I think cutting it twice on two different shades of paper would work well. And at times measuring the shape with a ruler and then selecting that size on layers does work, it just never seems to line up perfectly. Thanks for looking into this for me!
