How do you change the size of a card in the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I want a card that is 5" x 5". That means that the length must be at least 10" before it is folded. Can this be done? If I can change the card, can i change the size of the envelope to match the card.

Try using the Design Studio. If you do not have it, you can download a trial version on the website. (I own mine and wouldn't trade it for the world)

I tend to use the 3 inch size and resize whatever I want in any cart.

1.Click on the card and you should see the image... move it (with the upper left corner 4 way dash) to the 1 inch line... lining it up with the lines on the left and top sides.

2. Using the right side arrow stretch it while watching the faint middle dash line fold line) at the 6 inch mark (you shortened one inch from the start), then using the down arrow stretch it to the 6 inch line. You now have your card and can position it back to the orignal cut line or leave it where it is.

3. Make a new page on the left side of the program.

4. Use the shift line for the envelope. and line it up with the 1" line like before. But this time when you strech it you will eye the dash corners inside the envelope. You want to stretch it from the left corner dashes to the right corner dashes and count 5 inches. Do the same for the stretch for the bottom... the end result you are watching for is the 5 inches across and 5 inches down but between the dashes which is the outer face of the envelope.

5. Attach a USB cord to the computer and to the cricut.

6. Turn on your cricut with your Card in and load paper.

7. cut (scissors in the program) when it stops cutting, unload paper.

8. Reload Paper

9. Click the page you made your card on and click cut (scissors again)

I hope this helps. I had to learn by trial and error.
