Funny how sometimes you sit down to make something specific, and when you are done, you have something you love, but it is NOTHING at all like what you planned on! I was going to make a card with either a snowman, gingerbread man, or Christmas lights - and this is what ended up coming from that plan! Nonetheless, I am in love with this one!

More info on my blog!

I really like this card - kind of retro 1950ish. I love the inking you did. Are you self taught or is there a tutorial I could use that would show me the products and techniques to use? I would love to learn this as I think it adds so much to the cards I've seen. Thanks

That is really cute! Did you use the imagine for that?

I kind of just figured it out on my own! I got an ink pad, and a two things from my make-up bag - extra eye shadow applicators for the small places, and the foam wedges that you use for blending. Does that make sense? I can take a picture of those two items and post them for you. Then I just dab them on the ink pad, and start rubbing them along the edge of the paper. It really is pretty easy, but I am pretty sure there are lots of videos on You Tube and such! I was intimidated, then I just decided to play with it on the paper scraps I had in the garbage! Good luck - and have fun with it!

Nope! I don't have an imagine - couldn't ever justify the expense! But seeing things made with it did inspire me to start using my patterned paper a lot more!

Thanks! I used Glossy Accents on it - something I am VERY addicted to!
