Here is this weeks lid challenge. I figured we could use another sketch with a lot of pictures. And that is what this is more pictures then anything else. Which I love!

I really like this! My favorite sketches have LOTS of photos! I am such a shutterbug that I have a hard time just picking one or two photos for a layout!

Ok I love this layout.. Im going to try to either make it into the pre-made baby album Im working on or for the scout album. Either way, it is fabulous. Thank you.

Bearylish- I also wanted to tell you that if you ever need someone to come up with a layout if your busy or something, just pm me... :) I would be happy to help.

I really like that sketch but couldn't use it as the photos I have of my son in the military are too big and can't be cut to a smaller size without losing a lot so all I used was the title block and used that twice. I am not going to post the LO here because it really isn't much like the sketch. It will be on my blog! I will be watching to see what everyone else does and waiting for the next one.

I would love to do the challenge but I can't find 13 pictures of the same person/theme/etc. that I can use all on one layout lol. Definitely challenging to say the least. I'm still digging for pics though

I still have to do the journaling in the lined paper block. It's hard to read the title, which is Parakeet Tweets. Here is what I came up with:

GrammaP, I just wanted to say I went to your BLOG and your quilts are gorgeous. I have a bunch of my kids baby cloths already cut into squares to quilt, but I've never done it before, and it seems really intimidating.

Well I went with a layout for the baby album. Obviously we know it is a boy, but they are unsure of the name, which can be inserted later. I used b is for boy lite cart, and Wall decor for the title.

I love this one too! I also take a LOT of pictures and have a hard time choosing which ones to put in the layout. I am also hoping to finish last week's today and will post when I get it done.

Gramma P.: I really like how you adapted the sketch to fit fewer pictures. You should post it here too. : )

VCR: I love the use of patterned paper in place of some pictures. Cute!!

Sunnieday: Cute baby layout!!!

I was thinking that this would be a great sketch for those pics that don't really go together but are cute enough to scrap. In the past I have taken all those kinds of pics and put them together into a "summer fun" layout or whatever the general theme or time of year. I think I'm going with a family reunion layout for this sketch. Hope to have it finished by Monday night. : )

Here is my layout. This are of my DH at christmas. I had more then enough pictures I am a shutter fanatic lol.
I used Winter frolic for the title and an eksuccess border punch. For the sub title I used a stamp from MPS winter wishes and the word window punch (SU) and ticket punch (ek success).

So glad that you do this challenge, it sure helps me out. I've just started back doing layouts after all the christmas cards! This may not have ended up being my favorite but it's done! I only used Cricut for the title as I am trying to use up some old supplies that I had before the Cricut. That might be what I'm not really happy with as I've gotten so used to all the great cuts I make with my machine. It was great to see a layout that had so many photos because my layouts are usually very photo heavy.

Thanks for looking and I'm already looking forward to the next challenge!

great job on the LOs girls

I am almost finished with last week. Have to add journaling. ; )

I also have pics for this week picked out. All along with packing and working on the house getting it ready to sell. I am determined to scrap until the very last second. ; ) lol.

Great los everyone!
cj73- It's fun and cricut wasn't needed with all those great embellishments!
grammap- It's always fun to see how different our los can be, so I'm glad you posted.
I loved Sunnieday's bright colors & I'm thinking Bearylish's husband is a saint to sit still for so many pics! I always enjoy seeing everyone's work!

Here's mine for this week:

Sunnie- love the airplanes and this colourful layout

VCR- I like how you used a variety of bright papers to fill in the spots that you didn't have photos. Great interpretation of the sketch.

Bearylish- wow you do take a lot of photos! Great layout, love the title.

Bridget- nice layout, great title, love the skyline.

wOW what beautiful layouts everyone has created! I went very simple and streamlined for this one and am not absolutely in love with it, but it's done! :)
More information on my blog!

I scrapped a bunch of pictures from the 4th of July.

Everyone had such really great layouts this week! Here is my layout for the week. My daughter was invited to go with her friend - who also happens to be our neighbor - to get her hair and nail done for her friend's birthday. This was her first experience having her hair and nails done by someone other than Mom or Grandma. You can check the details out on my blog! Can't wait to see what next weeks brings us!
Hugs,
Stephanie
