I got my order in and LOVE these!

First one, my 11yo son designed. Turtle is from Life's a Beach, Font is Cuttin' Up

Second one is from Easter 2010 and Calligraphy. I took a better picture with a similar design to the first cup, that second picture was bugging me!

Edited to add better pics.

What a fun idea! This would be great to do as an activity before eating at a children's party. Beats just using a sharpie! Congratulations on your Chirp mention too!!

They are great, thanks for sharing! Are they stenciled from Cricut cuts or is that vinyl?

Wow.... I was wondering what my post was doing up at #2! I didn't realize I made the chirp! Woohoo! :)

To answer the questions, it is all vinyl, just carefully layered. I have a friend who works at Bed, Bath and Beyond, she says they carry the same cups two for $8.

My hubby is a amateur photographer, he is going to take a better picture that I will post!

Thanks Ladies!!

How do you keep the vinyl on the cups - especially when you wash them?

Handwash and they are fine.

Outdoor vinyl would probably even hold up top rack in the dishwashwer. It is stuck pretty well, you really have to peel it to try and get it off!

I ordered them from Silkletter.com. I have heard they are also available at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I have been very happy with Silkletter. I ordered 30, and they cost about $4 each.

AWESOME !!! I love it. They would make awesome gifts year round. I have never worked with vinyl. Is it very hard?? I dont understand the different types of vinyl either. I have seen the cricut vinyl and thought that was all that was used on these types of projects. Is there a tutorial somewhere that I can learn more about vinyl before jumping in? Congrats on making the chirp !!
