This was my first project using Toy Story -- the banner is 5 feet long. I made it for a 4-year-old's birthday party that was Toy Story theme. It was a hit. I had a bit of trouble getting the pieces to fit, but
finally realized (or rationalized?) that they were meant to have a gap between the pieces. At any rate, I was happy with it. Wendy

I really want to make this for my son's birthday party. Can you post additional instructions such as what you used to make the triangle pieces, etc. I have the TS cartridge but didn't see the wood like backroundnused to make letters. Sizes would help too. Thanks!

Littlelo3 - I have given the banner away, so don't know exact sizes. I cut the pennant "triangle" about 8-9" tall out of "denim" paper. Then I cut the layers behind it, in graduated sizes, using "Perfect Layers" rulers. I used a combination of Toy Story and Old West -- think the wood-like letters were from Old West, and I cut them out of "wood" paper. I used rust embossing powder on paper hole punches to make the nail heads. The stars were from Old West too, I think. I don't keep up with sizes, or follow a pattern. I just test cut one of the stars out of copy paper until I get the right size to go between the banners. Then I test cut the shadow of one of the characters to size it on top of the star. I hope that made sense! To hangers on the pennants are just a strip of paper folded in half & taped on the back.
I hope this all made sense! Wendy

I commend you. Paper piecing using Disney cartridges requires a lot of patience. The banner is fantastic. Glad it was a hit at the party.
Great job incorporating the Wild West Cartridge. It is also one of my favs.
