I cut out 2 of the bodies and faces tonight and I am wondering how you get the black to show through for the eyebrows, nose and smile?
There isn't really anything cutout in those spots just like a slit and I put paper behind it and you can't see it through the front.

I haven't ever used these so I am not sure of how it worked but thought it might be a little easier.

Thanks
Dulcie

A loy of people use the "peachie keen" (sp?) stamps. I don't, so I juts trace over the cuts the cricut makes to give the faces dimension. That and a little chalk on the cheeks, and they look great.

I'll have to try tracing the marks.
I bought it with intentions of cutting my daughters photo to put on the face..but yea I don't like it ...
So off to trace the lines.

What are peachy keen faces?

You can get several different sets of Peachy Keen face stamps at: http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/

They have a set of basic faces for paper dolls (love this set for for all my paper dolls), a set of animal and baby faces for new arrival and much much more.

I don't have the face stamps (want them but don't have them yet!), so I just use a marker. But I practice first on another piece of paper. BigGrin You can just go over the cut lines or do your own thing if you cut in blackout mode.

I just cut out some firemen today and am having the same situation. (However, I ordered some PK stamps earlier this week so looking forward to them getting here.) Meanwhile, I used a black pen to go over all the slits in the fireman's uniform to make it look like real clothes. Someone earlier this week suggested to me to use the Cricut markers for all these lines instead of cutting. I haven't done that yet, but may on my next project. I also did a fire station and used a pen. They really are cute...however, a lot of work.
