Is there any way to save a copy of a file? Like if I want to use an existing file as a template for a project?

Currently the Save As function is greyed out. But you can export your file and use that as your template.

Click Open and highlight your file.
Click the Export button
Select the Cricut Project option and click Begin
When it has finished exporting click Save
Select a destination for your file, give it a new name and type .ccr after it then press the Save button
Click Cancel to go back to your main CCR screen

Then to bring that file back into CCR:

Click Open
Click Import
Find your file and click Open
Click on the Options menu
From the Project tab click on the pencil beside the file name and type a new name in the box and press the Enter key

Your original file will still be saved on your computer and you can keep importing it into CCR. Just remember to rename it after you've imported it.

Thanks, Narelle. That's what I ended up doing.
