Quick Tip Thursday- Cricut Iron-on

by Mallie Lanham | Oct 10, 2013
Quickly becoming a favorite material around here, our Cricut Iron-on Glitter in Gold is the easiest and fastest way to add sparkle and shine to clothing and home decor without a hint of the mess loose glitter leaves behind.

cricut quick tip

However, because of all that shine, it is sometimes difficult to see where your Cricut design starts and stops. An easy solution? Pop in a Cricut marker, load your material and press "Cut." This won't cut the material, it will only create a tracing for you to easily determine the negative space to weed.

Then, without removing your mat from the machine, insert your Cricut blade and press "Cut" again. This will successfully cut your design, and you've got a map to what you need to weed!

ps- Each Cricut Iron-on comes with a handy guide for selecting the perfect pressure and blade depth. Use it-- and don't forget to mirror your text & design.
