Precise Cuts Every Time with Cricut Explore

Does Cricut Explore cut better?

Cricut Explore™ is our most advanced machine yet. We didn’t just improve the design of an existing Cricut cutting machine; we started from scratch to develop Cut Smart™ technology.

When developing the Cricut Explore™ electronic cutting machine, delivering a precise cut became one of the primary goals for our product team. We wanted to deliver a precise cut regardless of the material used or the image shape or size —from very small circles to large, intricately designed shapes.

And that is when Cricut Cut Smart technology was envisioned and made real.

Cut Smart™ technology lets you cut a wide range of shapes and sizes with exceptional accuracy. With Cricut Explore, you are assured polished, professional-looking results with each cut—as tiny as ¼ inch tall!

New technology meant that even the Cricut blade needed some tweaking. The new blade design makes it easier for the blade to navigate sharp corners, adding more precision and speed. And the smallest, most perfect circles are finally achieved!

Added to the greatly improved blades, a brand-new blade housing takes advantage of the new tip with a sophisticated springloaded, dual bearing design that allows the blade to spin freely, enabling the most intricate of cuts we have ever delivered to Cricut users.

Cricut Explore cuts THIS intricately!

We performed extensive testing to ensure precise cutting of different shapes, sizes and materials using the Cut Smart™ system and new blade design. Over 5,000 hours of standardized testing across hundreds of machines helped us hone in on and ensure the cut accuracy of Cricut Explore.

We have also developed cut settings for more than 50 materials. Like no other die-cutting machine, Cricut Explore delivers incredibly versatility. But that's a whole seperate post.

If you are like the 82% of crafters we surveyed and precision is one of the most important aspects of electronic cutting machines, Cricut Explore  with Cut Smart techonology is the machine for you.

Looks like there are bugs to be worked out. I think when a new product comes out you should wait a little while before you buy.

I received my Explore today. A little disappointed.....I tried to cut 1/4 and 1/2 inch letters and it did the same thing my Expression does....messes up the paper and end result doesn't cut small letters.

I have some questions. Will we be able to replace the blade when it becomes dull? If so what is the price be for those? Will only the new cricut pens work with the explore? When will the new design program be available for download? Thanks.

I bought the new Explore from HSN and it should be delivered 2/27 in the mean time I'm looking for cutting blades and a search on the net I find NOTHING? the machine is worthless if I can't replace a dull blade. I try to keep things in stock so I have them when I need it so why is the Explore machine being sold if we can't get important accessories like cutting blades???
