Mother's Day card made from From My Kitchen. The jars are cut from brown paper bags and stamped. The cover is made from the cartridge cover! The lid is self stick lace!!!I used two pieces and placed them close together. I laced 1/4" ribbon through the holes and tied the bow. The ribbon edges were glued to prevent raveling and then a small dot of glue holds down the tails. To hide the glue marks in the acetate, glue was carefully placed under the lace topper and along the hand drawn lines at the bottom. Pop dots help make this card stand out against the embossed and distressed background.
The background was cut 1/4" smaller than the 5x7" card all around and then repeated with a second color. The top color was embossed with the new Anna Griffen Pirouette folder. The for-color was trimmed, sanded, and then all sides were inked. The little label came from the old die cuts and was embellished with glitter pens and pearls. I even made the matching lined envelope! So much fun.
