Picture frame shadow box to show off your lovely wedding invitation. Add some flair with frost vinyl on the glass to have the glass etched effect.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Shadow Box
  • Vinyl for background
  • Wedding Invitation
  • double sided tape
  • frost vinyl (optional)

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

This part is optional but I cut a my new last first initial "Q" in Frost vinyl(its kinda see through) to give it that etched look. I also underneath the Q put my first name and my husbands first name. Last but not least ,I put our wedding date under our names. Make sure when you cut the vinyl you mirror the image, so that you can put it on the inside of the front glass and not the outside. Since it is transparent you are able to use both sides of the vinyl.
Now you're finished all you have to do is put the frame together and hang.
I used my wedding colors(mint, coral, and gold) my invitations were already coral and gold so I want to incorporate the mint so I used it for the background color. I used cricut mint vinyl and placed it on the backing of the frame and cut to size.
I placed crafted glue tape(double sided tape) on the back of the invitation and centered it on the backing of the shadow box.
