STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
A Child’s Year Cartridge
1. Ovals
a. Six brown ovals (5” Monogram + <Xmas2>)

2. Title: BABY
a. White title (2 ½” Font + Shift + <BABY> or title of choice)

3. Hands
a. White hand (3” Icon + Shift + <Toys2-s>)
b. White hand (3” Flip + Icon + Shift + <Toys2-s>)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 4 ¼” x 4 ¼” piece of white cardstock. Use scissors to cut in half, creating a triangle template.
Use paper trimmer to cut two 10 ½” x 6” pieces of blue floral pattern paper, two 10 ½” x 6” pieces of brown pattern paper, one 10 ½” x 6” piece of blue dotted pattern paper, and one 10 ½” x 6” piece of brown striped pattern paper. Use template to trim, creating a banner base.
Create ovals from cuts 1a. Use scissors to cut six 36” pieces of crepe paper. Sew a gathering stitch ¼” in from edges. Gather the crepe paper. Use hot glue gun to adhere to back of cuts 1a. Adhere to banner.
Create title from cuts 2a. Adhere to banner.
Create hands from cuts 3a-3b. Adhere to banner.
Embellish as desired.
