STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Easter Seasonal Cartridge
1. Eggs
a. Six cookie dough eggs (4” <Egg2Shw>)
b. Six pastel gum paste eggs (3 ¾” <Egg2Shw>)

Elegant Cakes Cartridge
2. Decorative flourishes (page 30, 40, and 44 in handbook)
a. Six white gum paste flourishes (2” Plain + Shift + <Flgre3-s>) – page 40
b. Four white gum paste flourishes (2” Plain + Shift + <Flgre1-s>) – page 30
c. Four white gum paste flourishes (2” Shift + <Flgre3-s>) – page 40
d. Four white gum paste flourishes (1 ½” Plain + Shift + <Flgre4-s>) – page 44
Roll out cookie dough onto shortening covered mat until it is just over 1/8” thick. Place in freezer to chill.
Use pastel food coloring to color gum paste different colors. Roll out onto shortening covered mat until it is just over 1/8” thick. Place in freezer to chill.
Create cookie dough eggs from cuts 1a. Place onto cookie sheet and bake. Create gum paste eggs from cuts 1b.
Create decorative flourishes from cuts 2a-2d.
When cookies are cool, use royal icing to layer baked cookies and gum paste.
Lightly moisten backs of cuts 2a-2d with water. Layer onto cookies.
Embellish with candy pearls as desired.

Step 2

Create decorative flourishes from cuts 2a-2d.

Step 6

When cookies are cool, use royal icing to layer baked cookies and gum paste.

Step 7
