OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Thin cording
  • Foam brush
  • Wooden ornament
  • Transfer tape
  • Clear glitter
  • Adhesive
  • Craft paint
  • Vinyl

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Quilted Christmas
1. Christmas ornament
a. Vinyl ornament detail (1.8” Silhouette + <Border7>)
Use foam brush to paint base coat of craft paint onto wooden ornament. Set aside to to dry.
Create Christmas ornament from cut 1a. Use transfer tape to transfer image to ornament.
Use your vinyl as a stencil. Apply paint in a daubing motion – DO NOT BRUSH – Brushing pushes the paint under your vinyl, and you will not have clean lines once the vinyl is removed. Apply all layers. Add layer of glue. Sprinkle with glitter.
Remove vinyl from ornament. Attach cording for hanger.
