I made enough sets (20 of each) to use with kids at church for a fun project to do with kiddos. I also made one VERY large pattern to use as my example as I sit at the table and show them how to assemble. Can't wait to hear what they decide to name each animal; mine are Jeff (Giraffe), Leo (Lion), and Eva (Elephant) who is now adorned with a cute little bow on her head.

This might not be for everyone but I had great fun making them and making a few mistakes, which turned into happy accidents :) The mistake was not to select relative dial size, when cutting out the Lion, so my layers became bigger and bigger as the cuts went on. Later I turned this mistake to an advantage by resizing all the layers to fit the respective cut 'mistakes' and instead of making finger puppets I end up turning the Lions into layered card toppers. I had a brain wave when trying to stand my finished items up; wouldn't they be great around the stems of wine glasses at parties. As the shapes can be manipulates in CCR you can do all sorts. You might not want to go to all that work but it's an idea. I'm still thinking of different things to do with these finger puppets cuts, I'm just running out of time to get them all done. Off to make pink elephants :)
