Project skill level: easy
Project time: less than 30 minutes

My husband loves to grill. Of course that means we host a summer backyard BBQ! Using the pen tool and vinyl on the invitation made them super-fast to make. No more gluing individual letters!

Look for the Skull & Crossbones Apron and Secret BBQ Sauce Tag from our BBQ that match this 4” x 7” invitation!
❤ Shanon

Prep

Click “Cutomize” and add text for your event to the invitation. Be sure to change the text to a writing style – I used the Cricut Alphabet font. Change the text color to Midnight.

Select the new text and the white tag piece and click “Attach” on the Layers menu.

Insert Cricut® Antiquity Pen in Midnight into accessory clamp A.
Cut

Follow the application instructions for Cricut® Vinyl to adhere the skull, text and red line to the tag using Cricut® Transfer Tape. Tip:Pick up the skull and text with the transfer tape first. Then pick up the red line on the same piece of transfer tape. Placing the entire image on the same piece of transfer tape makes it easy to center the image on the invitation.

Embellish as desired – I used ribbon.
