Recess Cartridge
1. School house
a. White windows (8” <SklHous>)
b. Black roof/accents (8” Shift + <House-s>)
c. Red bricks (8” Layer + <SklHous>)
d. Yellow door/bell (8” Shift + Layer + <House-s>)

2. Phrase: Recess
a. Black base (2” <Recess>)
b. White letters: R/E (2” Shift + <Recess -s>)
c. White letters: E/S (2” Layer + <Recess >)
d. White letters: C/S (2” Shift + Layer + <Recess-s>)

3. Phrase: Learn
a. Black phrase (1.5” <Learn>)
b.White letters: E/R (1.5” Shift + <Learn-s>)

4. Phrase: Back to School
a. Black base (2.5” <BackSchl>)
b. White letters: B/K (2.5” Shift + <BackTo-s>)
c. White letter: A (2.5” Layer + <BackSchl>)

Fold top edge of paper bags. Adhere folded edge down, leaving a slot under the fold where twine can be threaded through.
Create school house from cuts 1a-1d. Layer together. Adhere to a paper bag.
Create phrase: “recess” from cuts 2a-2d. Layer together. Adhere to a paper bag.
Create phrase: “learn” from cuts 3a-3b. Layer together. Adhere to a paper bag.
Create phrase: “back to school” from cuts 4a-4d. Layer together. Adhere to a paper bag.
Create reading boy from cuts 5a-5d. Layer together. Adhere to a paper bag.
Create tags from cuts 6a-6c. Layer together. Tie twine to tags.
Embellish as desired.
Thread twine through slot of each bag. Attach tags.
