  • Glitter buttons
  • Multi-colored striped pattern paper (1)
  • Ribbon
  • Yellow pattern paper (1)
  • Embroidery floss
  • Chevron striped pattern paper (1)
  • Piercing tool and needle
  • Light kraft cardstock (2)
  • Thread
  • White cardstock (1)
  • Sewing machine
  • Cream cardstock (1)
  • Ink
  • Aqua cardstock (1)
  • Adhesive
  • Orange cardstock (1)
  • Aqua pattern paper (1)

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
Use project cut file (CCR File) to create cuts

1. Title: Beach Time
a. Aqua title (Aqua CS layer)

2. Circle
a. White circle (White CS layer)

3. Pail
a. Light kraft pail base (LtKraft CS layer)
b. Yellow pail (YellowPtrn layer)
c. Orange pail handle (Orange CS layer)
4. Sandcastle
a. Cream sandcastle base (Cream CS layer)
b. Light kraft sandcastle (LtKraft CS layer)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 11 ½” x 11 ½” piece of aqua pattern paper. Adhere to one 12” x 12” piece of light kraft cardstock to create base.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 10 ½” x 4 ½” piece of multi-colored striped patterned paper. Use scissors to trim. Adhere to layout. Use scissors to trim two arrows from the chevron striped pattern paper. Adhere to layout.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 7 ½” x 5 ½” piece of cream cardstock for photo mat. Layer together with one 7” x 5” photo. Adhere to layout.
Create title from cuts 1a-1b. Adhere to layout.
Create circle from cut 2a. Ink edges. Adhere to base.
Create pail from cuts 3a-3c. Use scissors to trim. Layer together. Adhere to layout.
Use paper trimmer to cut one ½” x 11” piece of pink striped patterned paper and one 1 ¼” x 6 ½” piece of chevron striped pattern paper. Use scissors to trim ends. Adhere to layout.
Create sandcastle from cuts 4a-4b. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.
Embellish as desired.

Step 2

Use paper trimmer to cut one 11 ½” x 11 ½” piece of aqua pattern paper. Adhere to one 12” x 12” piece of light kraft cardstock to create base.

Step 3

Use paper trimmer to cut one 10 ½” x 4 ½” piece of multi-colored striped patterned paper. Use scissors to trim. Adhere to layout. Use scissors to trim two arrows from the chevron striped pattern paper. Adhere to layout.

Step 4

Use paper trimmer to cut one 7 ½” x 5 ½” piece of cream cardstock for photo mat. Layer together with one 7” x 5” photo. Adhere to layout.

Step 5

Create title from cuts 1a-1b. Adhere to layout.

Step 6

Create circle from cut 2a. Ink edges. Adhere to base.

Step 7

Create pail from cuts 3a-3c. Use scissors to trim. Layer together. Adhere to layout.

Step 8

Use paper trimmer to cut one ½” x 11” piece of pink striped patterned paper and one 1 ¼” x 6 ½” piece of chevron striped pattern paper. Use scissors to trim ends. Adhere to layout.

Step 9

Create sandcastle from cuts 4a-4b. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.

Step 10

Embellish as desired.
